According. to the soil classification by Backer & Herza the soils are first class. deep. more than two meters above the marl, and of medium texture ( sandy clay loam to silt clay loam). The soil is non-saline as the average salinity of the soil moisture of the saturation extract is less than 4 mmhos / cm.
The average annual rainfall is about 250 mm. Hence the crop production depends mainly on irrigation water supplied by the Jordan Valley Authority through their irrigation network in the Jordan Valley.

- GREEN ASPARAGUS: FEBRUARY -APRIL, 30 DONUMS
- SEEDLESS GRAPES: MAY-JUNE, 70 DONUMS
- BARHI DATES: AUGUST - OCTOBER, 90 DONUMS ( 1100 TREES)
- MEDJOOL DATES: SEPTEMBER-NOVEMBER, 130 DONUMS (2000 TREES)
- CITRUS: ( Washington Navel AND SHAMMOUTI ), OCTOBER-JANUARY, 30 DONUMS
N.B. Dates palms are inter-planted with Asparagus, Citrus and Grapes, so the total crops area is about 350 Donums.

2. A packing house with dates automatic sorting machine and cooling equipment of about 100 square meter.
3. Two cold storage rooms one 75 cubic meter and the second 45 cubic meter. Both rooms can maintain zero temperature with the required humidity, and a Freezing room of 16 cubic meter with operating temperature of minus 18 degrees centigrade 4. Machinery for rapping the produce containers under vacuum
5. Four pools with electric motors for pumping irrigation water.
